Topshop Neon Skirt
Miss Selfridge Embellished Playsuit
Miss Selfridge Floral Skater Skirt
Arcadia High Summer press day featured not just a couple, but all of the group brands under one roof! I have always been a massive Topshop fan, so obviously I headed there first. Filled with light coloured preppy/boho pieces and spring/summer's popular trend neon, Topshop did not disappoint at all. My favourite item was definitely the neon yellow mini skirt.
Moving on to my second best Arcadia brand, Miss Selfridge, I was actually less than enthusiastic with this range. Most of the collection was just a bit too sweet for me and I'm not quite in to that type of trend anymore. There were a couple of pieces that I thought was okay, like the embellished playsuit and floral skater skirt, but other than that, nothing else stood out.
The brand that actually surprised me the most was Dorothy Perkins. I hardly ever set foot in the store, only once in a while when my mum insists on going in, but I always leave empty handed. However, after seeing what was due to come in to the stores for summer, I am totally going to spend more time in there this season. Filled with monochrome pieces and bright neon, which are two of my favourite trends for SS13, I can just imagine myself living in DP for the in the next coming months.
All of the items from the press day is due in store around April time. Did anything catch your eye at all? Which brand is your favourite?
