Our lives often get super busy and we tend to forget what’s most important to us or what we should really be doing. As normal human beings, we strive on work, being busy and having social interaction, that having 24 hours in a day is just not enough. Yet, do you spend all those hours doing what you we should be doing? Procrastination is probably my worst enemy and I do it A LOT. By actually sitting down and concentrating on what we really should be doing, I have come up with five things that we should think about doing more and to stop putting it off.

Look after your health – Whether it’s that doctors appointment, dental check-up, opticians, get yourself booked in for those checks when needed. Nothing is more important than ensuring your health is good.
Start exercising – This is one point I have always failed in, but you know what, it’s not too late to start. I admire those who have been able to incorporate it within their daily life, but for me, it’s hard finding the motivation. I think I need to start with small steps and build as I go along.
Have a clear out – This not only goes for your wardrobe, but having a clear out of your technology too is also a good thing. Gather all your old clothes, shoes, accessories that you don’t wear anymore and throw them out or give them to charity. Log on to your emails, delete old ones and clear out your junk/trash box. Go through your phone, back up your photos and videos and delete them off of your device, same for laptops/computers. It’s a boring task, but also very rewarding when done.
Try something new – There must be something that you’ve always wanted to try, learning a new language? Or taking up a new sport perhaps? Start researching and book yourself in for classes. You have nothing to lose and if you end up not liking it, try something else and keep building those skills.
Spend time with the ones you love – I saved the best till last. We often get caught up in our daily lives that we forget about the ones we love. So put work and other tasks aside and spend some time catching up with those that really matter.
