Welcome to the world of ClearLiftTM, a new, alternative to traditional skin resurfacing and laser skin surgery which uses a machine to stimulate the growth of young, healthy skin tissue and improve collagen production without any pain or redness. Intrigued? Let me tell you a bit more.....
The Laser Lift Facial is a non-surgical facelift treatment that uses safe laser technology to penetrate deep in to the skin's layers providing a gentle build up of heat that causes the body to start its own natural healing process which is to produce collagen. Collagen is an essential protein found in skin, bones and muscles and boost of this is enough to tighten the skin on the face and neck area, revitalises and improves sagging skin overall. Before any type of treatment at HC MedSpa, a consultation is needed to establish what you want to achieve from the treatment, whether it is suited and whether there are any complications. After being given the all clear, my facial was booked in. On the evening of the facial, I met with my therapist and had a quick catch up to make sure everything was still okay and I still wanted to go ahead with the treatment. Sarah, gave my skin a good cleanse and scrub before turning on the ClearLiftTM machine, she explained the sensation I was going to feel and the type of direction she was going to run the machine on my skin. I must admit, the sensation and the noise of the handle was slightly uncomfortable to begin with, it wasn't painful at all, it was warm, which was actually quite soothing, but I think the thing that made me jump at times, was the ticking sound and at some points, the head of the handle made a slight sparking noise. However, after Sarah had done half of my face, I got use to it and even dozed off slightly. When the hour was up, my skin was given a boost of moisture and as soon as I looked in the mirror, I could instantly see that my face looked more shapely and my skin oozed radiance. The next day, I saw the even better results. My skin felt tight, my moisturiser applied well which made my skin looked super smooth and the overall complexion was just so much more brighter.
The recommend treatment course is four to six sessions every two to four weeks. Despite the initial uncomfortable feelings, I would definitely recommend giving this a try if you have a big event coming up and need a boost to your skin or if you fancy treating yourself and improving your skin's overall collagen production and complexion, then this is the one for you.
Do you have beauty facials often? If yes, what type do you have?
