Do you have difficulty finding nice and comfortable summer footwear? If the answer is yes, don’t worry, your girl here has got you covered. From the classic style to the almighty famous sliders, I got you.
Welcome to the summer footwear edit….
Now, apart from comfort, style is also very important, I have chosen four of my favourites from Simply Be, which aren’t only easy to style with everything, but also comfy to wear all day and don’t cost an arm and a leg.
The classic strappy
I do love a good pair of strappy sandals, however, as much as I like those ones that tie round your ankle about a hundred times, the classic style always wins me over and there’s nothing better than just a couple of straps to secure your foot in. These Scallop Edge Sandals are perfect for everyday wear and look super cute paired with summer dresses. The design is lovely, very comfortable and they come in black and nude too.
Valentino’s I hear you say? Oh no, no, these Studded Gladiator Sandals look just as good, but without the £600 price tag. These sandals will jazz up any summer outfit and add the extra bit of luxe. The studded straps run over the foot and tie up at the ankle which is sturdy and secure. I love the gold detailing and the slightly thicker, padded base makes it springy and super comfy indeed.
Pom pom and tasselled detailed sandals were the craze last summer and this year, it’s set to be as trendy as ever. I actually have about five pairs of pom pom sandals, extreme, I know, but they’re just so cute and definitely turns head wherever I go. The one thing I would recommend though, is to make sure the details are securely fastened in and there’s no charms or pom balls hanging off. These Pom Pom and Charm Sandals are perfect worn with a simple dress or playsuit and I just love the colours so much.
Love them or hate them (I personally love them), the slider sandals are here to stay. On count, I think I may have about six pairs and they are, hands down ‘THE’ most comfiest shoes ever! Well, I guess they are borderline slippers, but with a more stylish edge to it. I would recommend sizing up with sliders though, because I find that they look better when they’re slightly longer. These Furry Sliders are great for casual days when you just want to throw on some jeans and tee, they’re easy to style, comfy and easy to wear.
