Post Christmas Pamper Routine

Okay, it’s the day after Christmas and boy, am I exhausted! I am currently sat here with a sheet face mask on, preparing to go back to work tomorrow and I had this sudden urge to let you all know about my post-big event pamper routine, hence I am publishing this post today and (sort of) frantically typing as my bath is currently running in the background.

Who doesn’t love a good beauty pamper – I mean, no one is going to turn down the opportunity to spend time on themselves right? I always do a good head to toe revive and even something as simple as washing my hair with my favourite shampoo makes me feel so pampered.

As I am typing this live whilst the action is happening, let me tell you what I’ve done so far. Setting the scene for you right now – I have just come back from a mammoth Boxing Day shopping spree, visiting my family on the way and having a general catch up with my nieces and nephew. I have taken off all my make-up and cleansed my skin with the Bioderma Sensibio Mild Cleansing Foaming Gel and the Urban Veda Reviving Exfoliating Facial Polish, I then applied a Starskin VIP Illuminating Luxury Face Mask to my face and a couple of the Bliss Triple Oxygen Instant Energizing Eye Masks under my eyes which is currently all still on my face at this very moment.

Bath is running and I’ve popped a Bomb Cosmetics Urban Rose Bath Mallow inside, I can smell the aromas escaping from the bathroom in to the living room and the scent is absolutely incredible. My hair is in need of a good wash and condition, so I’m going to cleanse with the Syoss Oleo 21 Intense Care Shampoo and Conditioner and then applying the Davines Spotlight Circle Hair Mask for extra nourishment. This mask gives me the shiniest hair on earth and I definitely need a bit of that right now.

I’ve definitely got to get a move on now whilst my bath water awaits – after a good soak, I’m going to wash with the Molten Brown Samphire and Eucalyptus Bath & Shower Gel which is from the Seabourn collection and I absolutely love it! It’s so refreshing on the skin and gives me an instant boost of energy. Post bath, I am going to completely drown my body with the Nivea Rich Nourishing Body Lotion, not only does it instantly hydrate, it smells amazing and keeps my skin nourished and smooth for 48 hours. Despite the rich texture, it’s super easy and quick to apply and doesn’t leave a sticky feeling either.

Okay, so I have just got out the bath, my hair is towel-dried and I need to run the dryer through it, but prior to that, I’m applying some Lee Stafford Coco Loco Coconut Heat Protection Mist to ensure I protect my hair from heat damage and to keep flyaway’s at bay, this stuff also smells incredible, like a holiday in a bottle. To finish off my skincare, I’m adding extra moisture for the evening with the Clinique Moisture Surge Hydrating Supercharged Concentrate, the gel-like formula feels light on the skin, yet packs a huge amount of moisture each time I use it.

Finally, to finish off my post-Christmas pamper routine, I am going to give myself a gel manicure with the Le Mini Macaron Gel Nail Kit. This kit is so, so handy, I have used it a few times whilst travelling and it’s so easy to use and compact enough to take pretty much everywhere. I love how cute it is too and the colour selection is awesome.
