We all want to start our days smashing it by being best selves and simply getting the most out of each day. But sometimes, it’s easy to get stuck in a rut of zero productivity where you feel like your day isn’t going anywhere and you’re struggling to meet your daily goals. For those times when you want to be ahead of the game or boost yourself further than expected, I have put together three daily hacks that will instantly make you productive and excited for the day ahead.
Plan plan plan
Investing in a good app or a trusty planner will motivate you to write down any deadlines, appointments, social events and everything else in between. You’ll hopefully never miss a date or work deadline again! A simple notebook can be your key to success when it comes to planning your day, week, month and I definitely recommend investing the time in sitting down, making lists and jotting it all down. I am a big fan of lists, prioritising them and ticking each task off one by one is super satisfying.
Remember to look after yourself
No matter how busy we all get, overworking yourself and never taking the time to chill out and relax will only burn you out and make you unhappy. Always remember to look after yourself - whether it be setting out a routine of curling up on the sofa with a cup of tea and a good book each evening or going out for dinner with your friends every couple of weeks – planning time for you is the most important hack to master.
The small things matter
It’s super easy to get wrapped up in the busy day-to-day working life: the same mundane tasks, the routine that never changes, and the repetitive actions that we often forget to notice the small things that really matter. Taking some time to notice and appreciate even the tiniest joys in your life will expand your view as a whole of everything and make you grateful for your position and motivate you to work harder to get things done.
