Dymchurch

Last weekend, my boyfriend and I headed to Dymchurch. His parents own a caravan located on one of the sites and because they were there already down there, we decided to join them. Dan is currently training for his London to Brighton bike ride, so to challenge himself, he took the plunge to ride from his house to the caravan. The distance is 60 miles. Needless to say, I was extremely worried as he was riding on his own and didn’t really know the way.

But……. 6 hours and 60 miles later, he arrived safely, without a scratch, only a sore bum, the poor thing. I was very proud girlfriend that day. Well done Dan. 🙂

Afer a little rest and a bite to eat, we headed in to Dymchurch town and had a nice stroll along the beach.

Warning – bit of a picture overload. Hope you enjoy them. 🙂

Afternoon cream team at Mary’s Tea Room.

We stumbled across this lovely tea room during our stroll and decided to try it out the next day. The decor inside was lovely. It was bright and flowery with an vintagey edge. All cakes fresh and home baked. If you ever go Dymchurch, be sure to check out this place. 🙂
