What’s In My Make Up bag?

Hey Dearys,

Hope you’re all okay. 🙂

I thought I’d do a “What’s in my make up bag?” post to show you the current make up products I’m using. I’m not a very heavily made up person. I tend to go for a more natural look most of the time, maybe sprucing up a little on nights out, but that somehow has become non-existent. I blame it on old age, sighs. So I hope you all like it and if you have any questions, feel free to leave a comment or drop me an email at: sweetsaremyweakness@gmail.com

My skin type – Combination (oily T-zone, dry cheeks)

My make up bag.

My boyfriend brought me a different Marc By Marc Jacobs make up bag not long ago, but because I have just starting using this one, I decided to save the new one till this one gets really battered. 🙂

These are the products and tools that I’m currently using:

For my base:

Mac Studio Fix Fluid Foundation (Shade NW25) – A liquid foundation suited for oily/combination skins. This glides onto my skin smoothly and has very good even coverage.

Silky Girl BB Foundation Powder (Shade Medium) – I put a layer of this on after foundation, so my skin doesn’t look too shiny. This powder can also be used alone and gives an instant smooth effect.

Benefit Hoola Bronzer – I love looking bronzed all the time, so I use this bronzer to give me a sunkissed look.

17 Bronzer Brush – I’ve had this bronzer brush since forever and it never fails to disappoint me.

For my eyes:

Mua Eyeshadow Palette (Shade Glamour Days) – This gorgeous palette has some amazing colours and my favourite one is the brown metallic shimmery one, second row, second to last from the right. These eyeshadows are easy to apply with the applicator and last most of the day without creasing.

Max Factor Kohl Eyeliner – I’m not a very big fan of liquid eyeliners, so I tend to go for kohl eyeliners all the time. This one is easy to apply and glides on smoothly, but has a tendency to run quite quickly, meaning endless amounts of re-applying. I am currently on the look out for a new one.

Dior Show Black Out Mascara – This mascara spreads evenly across my lashes without making them clumpy and lasts all day. It gives volume and height to my lashes, so very ideal for girls with short eyelashes like me as this would really help lift them.

Shu Uemura Eyelash Curlers – The BEST eyelashcurlers ever! Say no more. You need to try these and you will realise. 🙂

For my cheeks:

Natural Collection Blush (Shade Blushed Cheeks) – A lovely pink shade that gives just the right amount of rosiness to my cheeks. Doesn’t streak and lasts all day.

The Body Shop Blusher Brush – The softest brush I have ever come across. This picks up the pigments of the blush very well and transports an even sweep of colour on to my cheeks.

For my lips:

Vaseline Lip Therapy Cocoa Butter Tin 20g

Vaseline Lip Therapy (Cocoa Butter) – I’m currently using Vaseline Cocoa butter as my lips are extremely dehydrated from my week in Greece. Once they have recovered, I will continue using the No7 Nourishing Lip Shine that I bought recently and will review in a later post.

What is currently in your make up bag? I would love to know. 🙂
