Mac Studio Careblend Powder – Medium Dark Β£20.00
Prior to this, I was using the Silky Girl Magic BB Powder which I have featured before here. As I have hit the pan on the last compact and due to not being able to source it here in the UK, I have had to look for an alternative that gives me the same benefits. I decided to have a little mooch at the Mac counter while out shopping recently and sampled this powder. My instant reaction was “wow“, it felt so light, yet gave my skin a smooth and fresh looking finish. So, I went ahead and bought it. Doesn’t take a lot, I know.
I wear this over my daily foundation and find that not only is it easy to apply, I get maximum coverage too. It also provides extra nourishment and comfort without it feeling too heavy. Another main benefit of this powder is it stays on all day, with needs to reapply on the t-zone area now and again. The only downside is it doesn’t contain any SPF, but that’s not too much of a problem for me because my moisturiser provides that anyways.
Overall, I am really happy with this and would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a light, natural looking powder that provides a healthy glow to the skin.
