Nip+Fab Glycolic Fix (*)

Glycolic fix is a set of innovative exfoliating pads soaked with glycolic acid to improve the texture and tone of your skin. It aims to brighten, smooth and reveal younger a looking complexion by stimulating cell renewal. At the same time, it promises to rejuvenate and hydrate as well as resurface the skin.

I have never tried glycolic acid products before, but having heard good reviews on the ingredient, I was excited to try this product when I received a sample of it at the Nip+Fab event a couple of weeks ago. The directions says that you can use this once or twice a day after cleansing and as a newbie to glycolic acid, I decided to start off with once a day to begin with.

After the third day, I started to notice my skin had become clearer and less dull. I then upped my dosage to twice a day after cleansing and by the end of the week, the texture of my skin has visibly improved, even my boyfriend (who rarely comments much on my skin) noticed a difference. My overall complexion is now a lot smoother to touch and brighter to the eye, so I can confidently say this product has made a difference to my skin.

I would definitely recommend this to anyone who is new to glycolic acid and would like to see visible results quickly. The pads were comfortable and soft to the skin and one pad can give you multiple rounds of application as it doesn’t dry out quickly.

Have you tried any glycolic acid products before and what are your thoughts?

With Love, Julie

    Ive not tried glycolic acid but ive read a lot about it. I suffer with dull skin that is also really red. Has this helped with any discolouration you may have had? xx

    Great post, I got these at the event too and I like them but I only use them a couple of times a week and I use one pad just once, I feel funny about re-using the pads for some reason!

    My complexion is brighter too and very smooth.

    Thanks for your review!
    Grace x

    @Hollie – I don't particularly have any discolourations, so can't really give you an answer on that one, but its definitely made my skin look brighter. xx
    @Shifa – I'm not too sure actually, it doesn't say on the pot or on the site, sorry about that. It doesn't sting or anything though and I have sensitive skin. xx
    @Milly – Yay! xx
    @Deja – Defo try it, well worth it. xx
    @Grace – Glad you like them too hun. As for the pad re-using, lol! I explained that to you already. 🙂
