This is my first beauty box from She Said Beauty and I have always heard good things about them so when this came through my door a day earlier than expected, I was pretty impressed. I opened the lovely aqua green box and was met with a wrapping of bright pink tissue paper tied over with ribbon. I unravelled the packaging to find a neat stack of beauty products screaming “try me” and so I did.
In this month’s box, I received:
- Cellnique Advanced Bio Renewal Masque
- B.Liv Off With Those Heads Blackheads Sebum Gel
- Wuta Kamille Glycerine Handcream
- Biao Beauty Rejuvenating Night Creme
- KeraStraight Protein Mask and Moisture Mask
- Myvitamins Total Acai Berry
Despite the size being so tiny, I actually quite liked this masque. It smelt lovely and fruity, a bit like Elemis fruit active mask which I love. It contains small grains which helped exfoliate my skin and after the one application, my skin looked brighter and more radiant. Sad that I couldn’t try it again because of the small tube, but I definitely give it another go if I could fork out $51 one day.
Coming from the same company as the renewal masque, this blackheads sebum gel aims to remove stubborn blackheads and whiteheads by simply applying to the affected areas. It also keeps excessive sebum in control and prevents future breakouts. Again, in another extreme small tube, I wasn’t able to get much from this product and haven’t seen much of a difference in my blackheads since using it.
My favourite from the box! This glycerine hand cream smells divine and provides maximum moisture to my skin. It absorbed really quickly and made my hands feel so soft. The size of the tin was small, but handy just to chuck in to your handbag for everyday use. Thumbs up for me on this one
This sachet may not look big, but I actually got 3 uses out of it, which I actually consider good because with most sachets, you tend to only get enough product to use it once. I really like this night creme, it’s rich and moisturising, but feels very lightweight after application. When I woke up in the morning after using this, my skin is so plump and full of softness. The scent of the creme is also very relaxing and smelt very aromatherapy like.
Both masks smelt like watermelon, did anyone else who received it think the same? Not that I’m complaining though because I quite liked the scent. I tried the protein mask first and applied this liberally all over my hair, left for 10 minutes and washed off. After blow drying, I didn’t feel or see much of a difference, my hair still felt quite dry and coarse. The moisture mask on the other hand was the total opposite. I did the same thing, applied, left on for 10, washed off and instantly felt the difference. My hair detangled quite easily and after drying, it looked shiny and the colour had more radiance to it.
I haven’t tried this product yet as I have a bit of phobia with capsule tablets. I even have difficulty with the powdered ones. I always have to break them up before taking them, weird right? I will try give this a whirl though as I have heard Acai Berry is good for you. I may or may not write a review on this depending on how I get on.
What do you think of this month’s box?
With Love, Julie
