November’s Glossy Box theme, Stocking Fillers, is perfect for this season. It’s less than a month till Christmas, yikes! This year has come round so quickly, time has flown by. Nevertheless, it is my favourite time of the year and I love spoiling my loved ones with gifts that I know they’ll like.

My box contained:
– Dermalogica Daily Microfoliant
– Alison Claire Mango Body Butter
– Nails Inc Nail Polish (Notting Hill Gate)
– Dr Jart+ Water Fuse Beauty Balm
– Wei Beauty White Lotus Face Pads
Review – I have tried this microfoliant before and absolutely love it. It contains a unique rice based powder that gently exfoliates your skin and is suitable for every day use. It’s also great for sensitive skins as it doesn’t contain any harsh grains. I cannot rave about this product more and would definitely recommend to anyone who suffers from uneven skin tone, dryness or pigmentation as this really helps to smooth and brighten your skin.
Review – This was my least favourite product from the box. I really disliked the scent, to me it smelt like cough syrup. I’m not sure if anyone thinks the same as me? I had to put another layer of a different cream on after to try and get rid of the smell. I can’t tell if it moisturised my skin or not as I didn’t even give it a chance to show me. Definitely not going to purchase the full size of this.
Review – This little pot of polish is so cute and a great size for taking away on holidays. The name of the polish is known as Notting Hill Gate. It’s a bright pink shade which came out matte when applied to my nails. I was surprised that it wasn’t glossy at all which is what I prefer from a nail polish, but the colour was nice and lasted quite a few days without chipping, so I can’t complain really.
Review – This bb cream is good for days when you only want light coverage as it’s of a quite a thin consistency compared to a few other bb creams I’ve tried. It works well and left my skin moisturised and smooth. It also contains a high SPF which is very important for me as I always like to protect my skin from the rays (yes, even in the winter, you can still get sun damage). I’d definitely recommend this bb cream to those who have oily/combination skins as it contains porous powder which is great for absorbing oil.
Review – I was extremely excited to try this mask out as my skin has been quite dehydrated lately and I’m happy to say that I really enjoyed using it. The mask was soaked in herbal concentrate which was combined with Hyaluronic Acid to hydrate and restore moisture to the skin. After the instructed 10 minutes, I took it off and my skin was instantly brighter and soft to touch. I rubbed in the remaining serum and applied my face cream. The next day, my skin looked really radiant and dewy, the best its been for a while actually.
What do you think of this month’s Glossy Box products? Have you tried any of them before?
With Love, Julie
