Love Your Skin Intensive Hydra Gel Moisturiser (*)

Love Your Skin Intensive Hydra Gel moisturiser is a lightweight, gentle lotion that is suitable for all skin types. It contains collagen and vitamin E which are both hydrating and moisturising for the skin, helping to maintain a youthful appearance all year round.

My skin has been quite dehydrated lately, most probably due to the harsh weather changes. I have been getting dry patches mainly on my forehead and round my lips which has been super annoying as no amount of cream has been able to combat the flakiness. I received the Love Your Skin moisturiser at the Live Bloggers event and after reading the description, I thought that it would be perfect to help hydrate my skin.

On my first application, after about 10 pumps, I finally had enough product to place on my face. My skin literally soaked it up straight away and I found myself reaching for more as my dry patches were still visibly flaky. I continued using this for the next two weeks and in my opinion, my skin hasn’t become any more hydrated. The scent and the texture of the lotion is really nice and probably the best thing about this moisturiser.  On the website, it does say that this cream can be blended with their serums to suit varying needs of the the skin, so maybe this this something I need to try. Unfortunately, the lotion alone didn’t work as well for me as it did for others who have reviewed it.

Love Your Skin Intensive Hydra Gel Moisturiser retails at £29.99 and can be purchased from their website here.

Have you tried any Love Your Skin products before?

With Love, Julie

I think sometimes those gel moisturizers are more suited to people who have oily / combination skin, which is maybe why it didn't work for your skin. Gorgeous packaging though, but a bit too expensive for me at almost £30 🙁

This looks really nice, and is it just me or does it look quite matte? It sounds perfect for my skin type so I'll keep an eye out for this, would need to try some samples before purchasing though as £30 is too much to buy it on a whim! xx

@Mary – Yeah, I'm generally okay with gel moisturisers, but this one just didn't cut it. xx
@OneLittleVice – Yeah, I agree. It does go on quite matte, so not that great for dry skins. xx
@Terri – Cool. Let me know if it it works for you. xx
