The Body Shop BB Cream Review

The Body Shop All In One BB Cream £12.00

The first time I ever tried BB creams was about two years ago when I was on holiday in Singapore. I popped in to one of their beauty stores called Etude House and picked up the latest BB cream they had.  After trying it, I became hooked on them, either under foundation as a primer or on its own when I only need a light coverage base. So when BB creams started to filter in to the UK with many brands launching their own version, I was intrigued to find out how good they were.

The Body Shop All In One BB cream was the first one I came across during my hunt and quite easily, one of best I’ve tried so far. The cream comes out white as you can see from the picture and when blended or rubbed in, the tiny molecules will burst and release a colour that adjusts to your skin tone. I use shade two which is perfect for me and it gives me a natural, glowing finish. Some days when I know I’m going to be out all day, I like to use this as a base underneath my normal foundation, I find that this helps keep my skin flawless for longer with less need for touch ups.

The only downside to this BB cream is it doesn’t contain any SPF, while a quite a few others do. But, I guess, at times, you can’t have it all. I would recommend this for those who are looking for a lightweight  product that gives a nice glow to your skin.

Have you tried any BB creams and What are your thoughts?

With Love, Julie

I haven't seen many posts on this BB cream so it was great to read this one! I love BB creams but sometimes they're just too dark for my skintone, the Body Shop BB cream is sadly a tad too dark. I think I might try it next Summer though when I've got a bit of a tan. I really rate the L'Oreal one, I wore it all summer x

oh it appears white and then gets the colour, like the L'Oreal one I'm using now.
So every brand has a BB cream now right? I started with the Garnier one which was a bit too greasy and swtiched to the L'Oreal one for now.
