Amy Childs Lashes – Flirt

Amy Childs Lashes in Flirt (*)

Amy Childs beauty range was launched this year and the collection consists of a various beauty products such as nail polish, false lashes, self tan and perfume. Her range is young, fashionable and affordable and most importantly all steps of development was monitored closely by Amy herself.

Being of Chinese origin, I have always had really short lashes. Although, this doesn’t pose as a problem to me, I am often envious of the girls (and guys) that have long lashes and are able to enhance their eyes by using a just few strokes of mascara. I have tried various eyelash growing gels, serums and creams and although I agree that they do work, but only to certain degree and I have to accept that my lashes will never be as long as girls (or guys) of western origin. So, my last resort was to turn to false lashes and I have been an avid fan of them for a long while.

When I was asked to review a pair of Amy Childs Lashes, I jumped at the chance as I’m always on the lookout for new ones to try. Flirt is of a medium length and has quite fine fibres, which is great for those that want a lengthened, but natural look. When applied, they fitted in very well with my own lashes and really transformed my eyes, making them look bigger and sultrier. The adhesive provided wasn’t that great as it didn’t stick very well to me skin, so I had to use some of my own glue. Another downside to the lashes was the wire used to bind them together is white and when applied to my lash line, I had to fill it out excessively with eye liner whereby with most of the other false lashes I’ve tried, the wire is black. Overall, they’re a lovely pair of lashes and do look amazing on. I would definitely recommend it anyone who’s looking for a subtle, but enhanced look.

Amy Childs Lashes cost £8 per pair and is available from Noveau Beauty Group and Amy Childs Official.

Have your tried Amy Childs Lashes before? What do you think of false lashes in general?

With Love, Julie

@HeartsAndCrosses – You should, I'm not that great with applying them either, but I found some really good eyelash clippers that make applying them so much easier. xx
