Clarins High Definition Body Lift
Apart of visually spotting cellulite, do you know how to check if you actually have any lurking underneath your skin waiting to pounce? One simple step to find out is to squeeze together a small section of your skin using both hands (half way down your thigh would be a good spot). At this point, you will be able to see if there are any signs of underlying dimples that will eventually appear if you don’t prevent it, eeeek!
I am very very lucky to not have any visible cellulite at this current moment in time, but I did do the above squeeze test and I will admit on here that I can see some dimpled skin around my thigh area. So, about two weeks ago I purchase this lotion from Clarins.
Clarins High Definition Body Lift is a lightweight cream gel lotion aimed to firm and smooth your hips and thighs as well as reduce the appearance of dimpled skin. It claims to ensure your skin is left soft, smooth and toned with ‘high definition’ results. The lotion contains small exfoliating particles that disperse as you rub it in to your skin, it feels extremely light when applied and absorbed really quickly. I also felt a slight cooling effect after application which was quite pleasant. I used this every day for two weeks and did the squeeze test again last night and can confidently say that the appearance of the cellulite I had, has faded. It hasn’t gone away completely, but it definitely looks better. This costs £36.00 which is a bit pricey for a cellulite cream, but I reallly enjoyed using it and would repurchase again when it runs out.
Do you have any tips on preventing the dreaded dimple skin?
I really want to try this, but the price puts me off!
