Tara Smith Hair Care

Tara Smith Gorgeously Gentle Shampoo and Conditioner (*)

Tara Smith vegan haircare range is a collection of 11 products produced in the UK. Each collection is catered to certain hair types, be it dry, damaged or coloured treated, you will definitely find something that suits you. Tara’s vision of her own range is based on her belief that ‘The hair is a plant that needs to be fed‘ and in order to achieve that, you need to provide your hair with ultimate hydration using the purest ingredients. All her products are are made with non-toxic ingredients and are free from any harsh chemicals. In regards to the packaging of the range, the reason Tara chose colourful birds was because she didn’t want to spend a lot on advertising therefore needed something that would catch someone’s eye as soon as they saw it.

I attended Tara’s launch event back in December and she personally prescribed me with the Gorgeously Gentle range as my hair is damaged through excessive straightening and colouring. I must say that I am pretty impressed with the duo. It leaves my hair ever so soft after washing and I have also noticed that it has brought my colour out a lot more. My lengths have become much more shinier and strong and the scent of the products are lovely, very aromatherapy like which is something I love. The only downside I found lies with the shampoo. I had to use quite a bit of it to get a good lather which is not that great if you’ve purchased the smaller sized bottles. Overall, I would recommend trying this out if you’re in to natural, organic products as it really did wonders for my hair.

Have you heard of Tara Smith’s haircare range before? What are your thoughts on organic products?

I clicked through to see how much they cost as I would have presumed organic meant expensive, but I am pleasantly surprised actually they seem relatively affordable… sounds like a fab product from your review 🙂 x
