Dr Bronner Magic Liquid Soap – Tea Tree (*)
I’m all for multi purpose products. I love the convenience and the ease of it, especially when it comes to going away and there is limited packing space. When I was asked to review Dr Bronner’s Magic Liquid Soap, I immediately took the opportunity because firstly, I have never heard of Dr Bronner before (I love trying new brands), secondly, after reading the press release and finding out it had 18, yes 18 different uses, I was pretty much sold. And lastly, it is made from complete organic ingredients and as I have been really in to natural products lately, this sealed the deal for me.
Dr Bronner’s Magic Liquid soap contains no synthetic foaming agents, preservatives, thickeners, fragrances or dyes and uses 100% recycled bottles and labels to package their products. Marking their 64th anniversary this year and with celebrity fans such as Lady Gaga, Gwyneth Paltrow, Drew Barrymore and Sandra Bullock, no wonder it’s USA no 1 selling natural soap brand.
One of the uses of this product that attracted me the most was being able to clean my make up brushes. Did you know that if you don’t clean them on a weekly basis, they will become full of bacteria and germs and cause breakouts on your skin, not really what you want right? Using this liquid soap, I soaked my brushes in water, applied a small amount to the bristles and gave them a good lather. Rinsing off the excess, I then left them to dry for the night. The next morning my brushes felt extremely soft and smelt amazing, my make up also looked a lot more smoother after application. The best thing about this product is the price, at £5.49 for a whooping 237 ml bottle, it really is a bargain not to be missed. You can purchased Dr Bronner products from their UK website and on ASOS.
What products do you use to clean your make up brushes?
