Being a total sun worshipper has it’s pro’s and con’s. Main pro is of course the golden tan that I get when I have spent hours laying on a deck chair tossing and turning making sure my pasty skin is well soaked in the sun. The con’s are burnt skin, early ageing skin and of course, the worst, skin cancer.
Over the past few years, I have been lucky enough to be able to go on some amazing holidays where I have had an extreme amount of exposure to the sun and many many chances of getting bronzed skin. However, that has also had an given me sections of uneven skin tone on my face and after a recommendation from my sister, I decided to purchase the Even Better Skin Tone Correcting Moisturizer from Clinique which claims to create a more even, corrected skin tone within four to six weeks. I have been using this moisturizer for six weeks now and my skin tone has improved dramatically over that period. The dark spots round my eye area has evened out and the pigmentation on my cheek area has lighten up a lot thanks to this cream. The texture of it is quite thick, so I thought that it was going to be quite greasy after application, but in fact, it soaked in really quickly and didn’t leave my skin feeling oily at all. This cream also helps to strengthen the skin’s resistance to darkening by creating a barrier against the sun which for me is great because I am hoping to protect my skin more as I’m getting older. For faster results, Clinique recommends using the Even Better Clinical Dark Spot Corrector with this moisturizer, which I am going to purchase very soon and review on here. Overall, this cream is a must buy from me if you suffer from dark spots or uneven skin tone as it does work wonders and for £35.00, I don’t think it’s too expensive.
