Dolly Wink Liquid Eyeliner Review – Deep Black

Dolly Wink Liquid Eyeliner – Black $13.50 (USD), $104.00 (HKD), £8.00 (GBP)

Can you believe I have only just branched out in to using liquid eyeliner? Shock, horror, yes I know. I use to think liquid eyeliner was really fiddly and needed extra time and a steady hand to make it look right, so I always just stuck to pencil. However, after watching a few tutorials on YouTube, I decided to that it was time to experiment and picked up my first liquid eyeliner which was the Bourjois Liner Feutre. I actually really loved how easy it was to draw with and how it made my eyes look. So thats it, I broke my liquid eyeliner virginity!

I had heard a lot about a brand called Dolly Wink before I came out to Hong Kong and it was always a bit risky to buy from Ebay as you don’t always know if it’s the real deal etc. So when I came out here, I knew that one of my first purchases was going to be this eyeliner and since then, I have been hooked on it.

Dolly Wink is a make up line owned by Japanese brand Koji and the collection was produced by Japan’s top model Tsubasa Masuwaka. After the official launch, the gyaru dolly make up look became an instant hit and the line had taken Asia by storm.

Firstly, I just want to mention the packaging, how cute is the pink pen with flowers? I absolutely love it. The soft felt tip allows the colour to glide on really smoothly and leaves a super precise line. Upon first application, the shade is already quite rich, after building, you can see from the picture that the colour becomes quite intense and dark. Because the tip is quite thin, the cat flick all of a sudden becomes a walk in the park for me. It honestly is that amazing! I’d recommend trying this out if you’re new to liquid eyeliner or have difficulty getting a smooth application as this would definitely help you out. Also, Dolly Wink liquid eyeliner does come in brown too if you fancy checking that out.

Have you tried any Dolly Wink products before?
