Living in polluted cities (London and now Hong Kong) does really leave my skin feeling extra icky at the end of each day. That’s why it’s important for me to find the right products to restore moisture and amend my skin while I sleep, so the the next day, I will be ready to face the world again.
A couple of months back, I attended a press event for French skincare brand Filorga, who brought out the first dermo-cosmetic range directly inspired by aesthetic medicine. Sleep Recover is part of the Care range and contains active ingredients that have decongestant properties to reduce under eye puffiness, treat tension lines and prevent signs of fatigue becoming permanently established.
The texture of it is nice and absorbed in to my skin really well. The scent is actually quite lovely and soothing, however, I must say that I’m not particularly wowed by this balm at all. As directed, I applied this on to a clean face just before bed, but I haven’t really seen much of a difference in the mornings. I mean, I don’t always look like a pile of trash when I wake up, but comparing it with my usual night cream which is Clarins Multi Active, I do prefer it more to Sleep Recover unfortunately.
This is the first time I have tried a product from Filorga, have you tried anything from the range before? Would you recommend I try something else?
