Have you ever heard of sleeping masks? If not, don’t worry, this is the first time I’ve come across them too. Apparently, they’ve been quite popular in Asia for a while now, so of course, little old me had to pick one up and trial it out. I opted for the Korean brand Laneige as I’ve heard many good things about their products.
Laneige Water Sleeping Pack is a overnight intensive hydrating mask. It is of a light, gel texture and aims to provide moisture, vitality and restore the skin through deep relaxation. Containing Hunza Apricot extracts to remove harmful oxygen and Recoverine from Chestnuts to remove dead skin cells, in the mornings, you are left with brighter, stronger and crystal clear skin.
After doing your normal night time routine, cleanse, moisturise, apply a thin layer of this mask to your skin. You can apply more to areas that need more hydration and then off to dreamland you go! If you’re worried about getting it on your pillow, I suggest placing a towel on it just before you lay down. In the morning, my skin is a little sticky to touch, but after cleansing, I notice a visible difference straight away. My complexion is smoother, brighter and feels a lot softer. I cannot doubt the effectiveness of leaving it on overnight as it’s done a great job and all while I was sleeping. This really is a lazy girl’s idea of achieving hydrated skin with minimal effort. I’d definitely give this a go if I were you!
Have you tried any Laneige products before or anything similar to this mask?
