Schwarzkopf Colour Mask Masterclass

Last Tuesday, I attended the Schwarzkopf Color Mask Masterclass which was held at their academy in Marylebone. Having always been a fan of coloured hair, I was extremely excited to be invited along to see the range and be shown how to achieve the “salon done” look at home.

Color Mask is a unique and luxurious hair dye with a hair mask texture. It provides long lasting colour and is perfect for grey coverage. Due to the thick consistency, 90% of consumers confirmed that the formula is non-drip and is quick and easy to apply.

The above model had a mixture of two colours put on her hair and a Schwarzkopf’s colour expert showed us how easy it was to apply the colour.

This model originally had two tones of colours in her hair. The top layer was sectioned off and dyed, so we could see the before and after shades. She had shade 586, Warm Mahogany put in and it was such a lovely colour.

After the class, we were allowed to attempt to dye our own hair. As I already had my hair dyed purple not long ago, I decided to pass on trying out the natural shades. However, one of the girls asked me if I wanted to try one of the new Live Color XXL shades and they had a purple in the range! I jumped at the chance as my roots were starting to turn a little ginger due to the bleach used before, so off I went to experiment. The colour comes in a tube and all I had to do was apply it with my fingers and leave it on for as long as I wanted. I ended up leaving it on for about 40 minutes and after washing it off, the end results were amazing. Not only did my colour look revitalised and fresh, it also looked much brighter. I am definitely going to keep my colour topped up using this and who knows, if I get a little braver, I may try the pink or blue!

Have you tried Schwarzkopf Color Mask before or anything else from their colour range?

Ah love this – i'm a big fan of this brand – I am forever dying my hair, at the moment I have the XXL LIve Bitter Sweet Chocolate throughout, I love it but I wish I had some multitonal shades shining through, I recently got my hair cut above the shoulder, wish I hadn't now as quite fancy an Ombre'd look but not entirely convinced it would look right on shorter hair. That class looked like so much fun. Love L xxx A Scottish Lass
