Mac Lipstick Review – RiRi Woo

MAC Lipstick – RiRi Woo £14.00

When MAC announced their collaboration with Rihanna a little while back I literally let out the largest squeal of excitement known to man! This will be one collection I am not going to miss for the world and on May 2nd 2013, her first product, a red lipstick inspired by the famous favourite Ruby Woo was released named as RiRi Woo. As a Mac lipstick fan, of course, I found myself attached to my computer screen ready to pounce as soon as it became available.

RiRi Woo is a classic matte red with a slight blue-ish undertone. The texture seems a little drier than other MAC matte lipsticks I have tried before and tugs at the skin upon application, so I would suggest giving your lips a good scrub. I wore it for an evening out the other week and apart from the odd top up mainly in the middle of the lips, it lasted all night without budging. I also own Ruby Woo and would say they’re almost identical, but RiRi Woo is just tiny bit brighter.

If you’re a fan of Rihanna or even just a fan of MAC limited edition product, then I would suggest picking one of these up. It is currently sold out, but the good news is, it will be back this month along with some other new products from the range.

Did you manage to get hold of RiRi Woo? If not, will you ordering one?
