Favourite Spa Getaways

Apart from enjoying the luxuries of shopping and eating out
on a weekly basis, one thing I do love, is going to spas. There is nothing
better than winding down, relaxing and enjoying a nice beauty treatment. Quite
often, I see special deals on sites like Groupon and Living Social, where they
offer good prices on different types of spas. I must admit, there was a time period
where I was snapping up any deal that tickled my fancy; my bank account sure
took a battering. Nowadays, I prefer to save them for special occasions when I
feel that I deserve a treat.

I am lucky enough to be able afford to go on holidays every
year and only then is my perfect opportunity to fully indulge. I always do some
research on what types of salons or spas are available at the hotel or close to
the area that I’m staying at so I can possibly book myself in for every single
treatment going! I do have an aim of visiting certain spas across the world,
but they’re all so expensive that I could only ever wish to make trip there.
Having said that, I would still like to share with you, my top three spa
destinations, prepare to drool…..

Intercontinental Bora Bora Resort & Thalasso Spa – Named the Deep Ocean, this spa offers an extensive menu of various beauty treatments and therapy rooms. There are also glass floored overwater bungalows that allow you to admire the marine life during your treatment. Total bliss!

One&Only Maldives Spa – Together with ESPA, the One&Only spa won the Best Luxury Wellness Spa in the 2013 World Luxury Spa Awards. Featuring vitality pools, crystal steam rooms and ice fountains, prepare to be transferred in to a journey of tranquility.

Coral Reef Barbados Spa – A wide selection of luxurious treatments are offered at the Coral Reef Spa. Housed within a gorgeous colonial inspired building, the spa decor is based on nature. The sound of falling water and light scent of flowers is never too far away. Highly trained therapists ensure your stay is one of the best you’ve ever experienced.

So, there you go, my top three spas that I can hopefully visit one day *dreams*. If you’re new to spas or require some advice on spa etiquette, below is a video from Spa Breaks that explains everything that you need to know. Enjoy!
