S5 Skincare Illuminate Serum Review

S5 Skincare Illuminate Serum £44.00 (*)

I have been battling with uneven skin tone
and pigmentation on my skin for a while now and prior to using the Clinique Even Better Skin Tone Correcting Moisturiser, nothing else worked for me. I
finished the last scraps of that about a month ago and intended to pick up my
next tub until I was introduced to S5 Skincare at the Chalk PR Tea Party. After
getting a detailed prescription from the lovely girls from Chalk PR, I was sent
a sample of the S5 Illuminate Serum to test out.

The Illuminate Serum is targeted for skins with
hyperpigmentation and aims to boost luminosity, even out skin tone and lighten
the appearance of age spots. With Alpine Bioactives, Marine Laminaria and
Biospecific exfoliator being the key ingredients, you are left with reduced
pigmentation, smoother skin and enhanced radiance.

I started using this straight after my tub of
Clinique moisturiser hit the pan and can honestly say that I’ve never looked back since. It leaves my skin so soft and smooth and is an excellent base for moisturiser which glides on nicely after. The dark spots underneath my eye area has lightened even more and my overall skin texture has improved a lot, it is brighter, softer to touch and so much more radiant. The only tiny thing that I’m not too fond about is the scent, it does smells a bit like cough medicine, but that won’t stop me using it at all. I cannot recommend this enough and would definitely urge you to give this a go if you have similar skin conditions as me.

Have you tried anything from the S5 Skincare range before?

This really sounds amazing. I suffer from hyperpigmentation on my face and have been looking for something that will help. How much does this retail for?

For £44 lovely, it's one of the best serums I have ever used. xx

Thanks for the review, how long were you using this for before you saw results? Does it work on mild or dark sun spots?
