After reading lots of reviews on this blusher, I finally managed to get my hands on one when my sister went away to Miami last year. I can’t believe it’s taken me this long to review it since it is one of the best blushers that I have come across in a while, what am I like?!
Tarte Amazonian blushers are described as “long wearing, supremely soft infused with Amazonian clay harvested from the banks of the Amazon river and naturally baked by the sun”, now that sounds rather dreamy doesn’t it? The shade I chose was Tipsy, a true peachy coral with a hint of fine shimmer. The packaging of the compact itself is already a winner for me, with each blusher colour coded so it’s easily recognisable. The design of the powder has, what I believe is the Amazon river embossed on it and contains vitamin A, C, E and of course Amazonian clay.
The colour is seriously gorgeous. It is highly pigmented, but I prefer to wear my blush quite subtle, so one sweep of this is enough for me. You can build up the layers if you wish for a more brighter look, just depends on what you fancy. It gives me a lovely flush of colour, makes my skin look ever so healthy and is really long lasting, it doesn’t say 12 hours on the box for nothing. This blusher is honestly pretty stunning and I can definitely see where the hype is coming from. Unfortunately, Tarte blushers are not available in the UK, but if you can get hold of one at any point, I urge you to do so, it is one of them products that cannot be missing from your make up bag.
