Living in London, one of the most expensive
cities in the world means spotting good deals becomes a second nature to me in
most cases. I don’t earn bucketloads, I work hard for my money, therefore in
order not be ripped off, I have to think smart. I reckon that I’m quite good at
spotting good deals especially when it comes to shopping online, but you never
know until you’re put to the test. I was recently sent this infographic to see whether I knew if something was a good deal or not and I am
happy to say I passed!
Having done the task, I felt it would be useful to share with you, my top five sites to find good deals.
Clothes and Shoes – eBay is the ultimate
shopaholic’s destination for finding a good deal. Whenever I am looking for a
dupe for something that I can’t justify paying the full price for, eBay is my
Beauty – Beauty Bay often has many great offers
on and the savings can be anything from £1 to £3, which may not sound like a lot, but it’s better than nothing. The selection is not as big as sites like Feel
Unique or Look Fantastic, but I am always able to find something on there.
Holidays – Travelsupermarket is the place I go to when I need to find a good deal on a flight. By bringing you the best prices
all at once, what more could you ask for?
Food Shopping – Asda‘s famous ‘pat the bum’ advert shows exactly what everyone wants to see when they go food shopping, money still in their pocket when they leave. Asda is always known to beat other supermarkets in terms of prices and offering good deals without compromising quality.
Vouchers – Groupon is the site I go to when I am in need of spa break or afternoon tea with my girls as they always have excellent deals on there that are right up my street. But, those are not the only deals going, you can find anything from restaurants vouchers to short breaks away, it really is a great website to keep in your good books.
So, that’s it. I hope you enjoyed taking part in the task and picked up some good tips. Do let me know how you got on.
