A while back I attended an A/W 2013 preview event for a French luxury lingerie brand, Chantelle. Showcasing the latest collection got me really excited, mainly because I was never a luxury underwear wearer as such and everything looked so nice. I got myself measured properly (don’t worry, I won’t be disclosing my bra size on here) and realised that I have been wearing the wrong size all this time! Girls, please go and get yourself measured properly, it will do you a multitude of favours especially for your blood circulation and posture. After get sized up, I was gifted my own set from the Rive Gauche Coque range o try out and why I didn’t start wearing proper lingerie in the beginning is totally beyond me. The quality of the material is soft, smooth and extremely comfy to wear. There is a really thin layer of padding in each cup meaning movement is very easy and the lacing round the edges gives it a feminine touch and does not show through clothing at all. The matching tanga brief (you can also get the shorty brief) completes the set perfectly.
Chantelle Lingerie is available in Harrods, Selfridges, John Lewis, House of Fraser and Fenwick. It is also available online from all those stores and Figleaves.
What are you like when it comes to underwear? Cheap and cheerful or luxury all the way?
