Sensodyne ‘Complete Protection’ Range Review

Sensodyne ‘Complete Protection’ Toothpaste £4.29 (*)

Sensodyne ‘Complete Protection’ Extra Fresh Toothpaste £4.29 (*)

Sensodyne ‘Complete Protection’ Soft Toothbrush £3.29 (*)

My teeth is something that I have always neglected in terms of taking care of them. I mean, I do brush twice daily and use mouthwash and all, but I’m not one of those people that keep them maintained. Harsh toothbrushes always make my gums bleed, so after a visit to the dentist who told me I had sensitive teeth, I was introduced to Sensodyne. He also mentioned to me that one in three people actually don’t know they have sensitive teeth and don’t use the right products to treat it. As an avid fan of the brand, I was extra excited (I know, it’s weird to get excited about toothpaste right?) to learn that a new range had launched and of course, little old me was straight on it.

The ‘Complete Protection’ range combines all the benefits of a daily toothpaste with an advanced technology called NovaMin. This technology is clinically proven to relieve the pain and discomfort of sensitivity and provide a protective layer over vulnerable areas of tooth. When used twice daily, it aims to strengthen enamel, maintain gum health and aids plague control. After giving both toothpastes and the soft toothbrush a good whirl, I can confirm that with each cleanse, my teeth looks whiter, feels much cleaner, no bleeding gums and less painful when eating things like ice cream and sour foods.

The toothpaste lathers up better than the classic style and is packaged in a handy sized tube. The toothbrush has the softest bristles known to man and gives a really good clean, making sure every corner of my teeth is covered. Overall, this is a great new range and I would highly recommend trying it out. Also, if you think you have sensitive teeth (symptoms include: bleeding gums, pain when eating certain foods and red looking areas at the root of the gums) I would urge you to see your dentist who would be able to give you the best advice. Better safe than sorry.

How do you take care of your teeth?

This toothpaste should carry a public health warning for people with sensitive teeth. Never, have I felt higher sensitivity / pain when a toothpaste was applied to my teeth. It’s almost as if it was designed to heighten sensitivity!! I was given this by my dentist?????

I bought Sensodyne Complete Care toothpaste after my Sensodyne Daily Care ran out & it made me fell like my teeth were full of cavities. It took me a few days to realise it was the new toothpaste causing the problem. Once I return to the Daily Care I had no more issues. So for me, Complete Care did not work & actually made my teeth more sensitive than usual.
