Bzzz bzzz, news feed – this new range launching on 18th of September is one not to missed, pen it in your diaries now ladies and gents!
Honeymania is The Body Shop newest bath and body collection. The main ingredient, Sheka Honey, is sourced from the Ethiopian Rainforests and is proven to be a natural moisturiser known for its smoothing and nourishing properties. Sheka Honey also has a distinctive taste and smell because of the fragrant rainforest flowers and this actually transfers in to the products as the scent is more floral than the actual honey scent that we all know. Beekeeping and honey production is one of the main methods of sourcing income in Ethiopia and not only do The Body Shop sourced the best ingredients from their natural habitats, but they also work and support the Beza Mar experts by strengthening the beekeeping culture.
The Honeymaina range consists of seven products:
Shower Gel £4.00 (*) – A nice, foaming shower gel. Lathers up well, infused with the signature honey scent and leaves a subtle hint on the skin.
Bubble Bath Melt £8.00 (*) – My favourite product from the range. Looks exactly like liquid honey and smells absolutely gorgeous. Forms a lovely tub of bubbles and leaves my skin feeling nourished and soft.
Body Scrub £12.50 (*) – Say goodbye to dead skin cells! This scrub is extremely effective while leaving my skin nice and smooth.
Soap £2.00 (*) – I’m not usually a soap user, but this one is an exception. Made with certified palm oil, this gently cleanses without being too harsh. My skin felt silky soft and lightly scented. The cute bee embellishment literally tops it off.
Eau De Toilette £8.50 (*) – I liked this, really light and sweet, but it may not be for all as the sweet scent can become overpowering at times. Good lasting power and great size for your handbag.
Body Butter £13.00 (*) – I have always been a fan of body butters and this no doubt ticked all the boxes. Thick, rich and creamy which left my skin super hydrated for hours!
Lip Balm £4.00 (*) – A lovely, moisturising balm in a pot. Sweet, floral scented and melted straight in to my lips leaving them feeling softer than ever before.
