Youngblood Cosmetics Mineral Make Up Review

Youngblood Mineral Radiance Creme Powder Foundation in Warm Beige £41.00 (*)

I am a big fan of compact foundations, easy to use, mess free and convenient to carry. This mineral creme powder foundation from Youngblood aims provides a lightweight, yet effortless coverage that is buildable on application. It is oil free and suited to those with oily/combination skins. I have combination skin that is oily in the t-zone like normal, but it is also quite dehydrated as well and I didn’t get along well with this foundation at all. As you can see from the above picture, the product clogged up around my nose area. It also held on to the drier parts of my skin quite tightly leaving it looking extremely patchy. I did like the lightweight feel and how well it glided on, but it just didn’t work well for my skin.

Youngblood Pressed Mineral Rice Setting Powder in Medium £24.00 (*)

Setting powders are great for skins that are particularly oily and this fits perfectly for me. Unlike some other powders, this one is really smooth, light and diminishes shine within seconds upon application meaning there is no need for extra clog up of product on your skin. When worn with my usual foundation (MAC Studio Fix), it really helped to set my make up for the day with only one touch up needed. The shade, I would say is slightly paler than your normal mediums, so whipping out your bronzer would be advisable on this occasion. Overall, I really liked this setting powder and would recommend it.

Have you tried any Youngblood cosmetics before?
