W7 Make Up Range Review

W7 is a make up brand that I have come across at some point before, but never really dabbled in to the range. I’m quite glad I was introduced to it again as I’ve actually found some real gems within their collection. And, the fact that it’s so affordable makes it even more better!

W7 Prime Magic ‘Camera Ready’ Balancing Primer £3.99 (*)

This purple primer may look scary in the tube, but it transfers on clear, so no need to worry about the shade of it. On first impressions, I wasn’t too keen when I squeezed it out on to my hand. It look grainy, like an exfoliator and was slightly watery too. However, once applied on to my skin, it wasn’t sandy at all and glided on well. It left a smooth, matte surface for my foundation and kept it intact for the whole day. The only thing I would advise is to give the tube a good shake before applying, so it doesn’t come out too watery. Overall, a lovely primer that works and won’t break the bank.

W7 ‘Make Me Blush’ Blusher in Dahlia £2.99 (*)

I am a massive fan of blushers, so naturally I would pick one to try from the W7 range. This blusher has a gorgeous shimmery finish, but be aware not to apply too much as it is really pigmented and you will end up looking quite ridiculous (as I did when I first tried this!) The powder is soft and leaves a lovely glow with just one sweep of the brush. Encased in a medium round case, this will last you absolutely ages.

W7 ‘Go West’ Matte Lipstick in Perfect Pink £2.50 (*)

What a gorgeous shade of vibrant pink! I must say, I am loving bright lips at moment despite autumn/winter looming in on us. Similar to MAC’s Candy Yum Yum and Stila’s After Glow Lip Color in Electric pink, in terms of shade, I do think this is on a level of it’s own. Described as a matte finish, it’s much more silky than dry, so it was extremely easy to apply with no liner needed. Longevity, however, was a bit of a let down, it wore off within an hour and needed many reapplications. I would only recommend trying this if you’re new to bright pink lipsticks and want to experiment but not pay loads to then realise you don’t like it.

Have you tried anything from the W7 Make Up range before?
