Vichy Idealia Life Serum Review

Vichy Idealia Life Serum £29.50 (*)

I love serums, I really do, they just make any skincare routine complete, don’t you agree? Currently my favourite day time serum dose is this particular one from Vichy. From the ‘Idealia’ range, this is suitable for all skin types, even those with sensitive skins and has proven efficacy to treat over-stressed, UV over-exposed and skins with a wide exposure to pollution. For me, the most attractive benefit was how it could improve a dull complexion and uneven skin tone, so putting this to the test couldn’t have been any easier. ‘Idealia‘ Life Serum is enriched with a combination two unique ingredients, LR2412 which is a powerful molecule that accelerates the skin’s ability to repair and LHA, a similar ingredient to Salicylic Acid that transforms overall skin quality and stimulates cell renewal.

On first impressions, this serum has a creamy texture, so I thought it would definitely make my skin look more oily, but actually, it did quite the opposite. It sunk in really quickly and in a matter of seconds, my skin was smooth and matte. The smell is lovely, a light floral scent that is quite soothing. The serum is slightly luminous and you can definitely see it on your skin after because your complexion is brighter and more healthy-looking. Obviously, the real test is how well it works in improving uneven skin tone and overall dullness on the skin. After the eleventh day of this using this, only once in the morning, I have noticed a difference. My skin is a lot more soft, supple and plump and the tone is much more even. It also feels very attached to the skin throughout the day, therefore creating a strong barrier against pollution and dirt which is definitely a massive plus point for me. Overall, for anybody looking for a good serum, I would recommend this, particularly if you need something to brighten your complexion.

What are your thoughts on serums? Will you be giving this one a go?

I've read some rather positive things about this 🙂 The actual product looks and sounds like HealGel which I'm using at the moment, I adore it so I would probably get on well with this too.
