Green Tartan

Topshop Leggings £28.00

Zara Tartan Scarf £19.99

So my obsession with Tartan is growing by the day and there’s no doubt that I have totally embraced the trend with my constant ramblings about it throughout the year. As we all know, red is probably the most famous of them all, but let’s not forget about all the other colours that make up good tartan too. At the moment, I’m really loving the green shade of tartan and recently picked up two pieces from my favourite high street stores. The leggings are simple and easy to pair with anything, I would wear them with a black oversized jumper and some chunky ankle boots. As for the scarf, which actually can be worn reversed because of the double printing, is large and chunky enough to keep you warm all day and the material is super soft and snuggly. At £19.99, I don’t think it’s too pricey for the quality and I actually have the beige tartan scarf which I also bought from Zara this year (see, told you I was obsessed!) that I haven’t really taken off for a while. Tartan, me loves you!

Love those leggings. I cringed when I first heard tartan was coming back in, but it has really grown on me and I love all the new wintry varieties available in the shops. It doesn't have to be all about red schoolgirl kilts, and frankly I would look about twelve in one, but I've invested in a couple of tops and scarves so far while keeping an eye out for some shorter length trousers, which aren't always easy to find!
