(Dolphins, Breakfast in our hotel room in Bali, Arguing monkeys, Kintamani Volcano, Seafood at Jimbaran beach, Cousin’s wedding)
Bali was a tremendous trip, despite being really touristy in parts of the country, I had a great time and the people we met and the staff at the hotel were extremely friendly and deserve a pat on the back for the service they give to their guests. The highlight of the trip was the dolphin tour we went on, starting off at 3am, we made the two hour journey to ‘Lovina’ which is in the north part of Bali and witnessed a herd of wild dolphins swimming and having their morning feed. It was actually quite hard to spot them at first, I was determined that the amount of boats out that day must of scared them away, but we waited a little longer and they all started making an appearance which I was so happy about as I love dolphins and all things sealife. The weather was great for our whole stay and only rained on the last day which we didn’t mind too much at all as we had nothing planned other than a short afternoon at the shopping centre and a Starbucks drink before heading to the airport. We are now in Singapore (arrived on Friday) and attended a lovely two day wedding for my cousin, Andrew. I am currently nursing a food baby after the wedding dinner, the food was so so good and of course the two day wedding was just lovely. This week’s plans will involve catching up with family, eating more food and a few bits of touristy stuff. How was your week?
