Dove Spa Moisturising Serum and Nourishing Eye Balm Review

Dove Spa Waterfall Intelligent Moisturising Serum £37.00 (*)

Containing an ultra-moisturising formula which aims to provide your skin with maximum moisture content and focusing on dehydrated areas so your skin is left soft, smooth and hydrated. This serum sounds right up my street. Due to the colder weather getting even colder lately, I really need something that locks moisture in so my skin doesn’t suffer and this does just that. The texture of this serum is rather watery despite its cream lotion form, so two pumps was all I needed. It sunk in pretty much as soon as it touched my skin, this worried me a little at first because I thought it would then dry out my skin really quickly and I would need to reapply. But, my skin actually felt plump and hydrated. The scent is a bit of a weird one, it sort of smells a bit like rice cakes, no joke. Overall verdict, a nice serum that ensures your skin is pumped with moisture, but a bit on the pricey side.

Dove Spa Delicacy Nourishing Eye Balm £28.00 (*)

Working hand in hand with the moisturising serum, this eye balm also works a treat for tired looking eyes. It is a cream formula despite being named a balm and comes with a small spatula so you apply the right amount to your skin. When this applied, there is an instant cooling feeling and makes my eyes feel extra refreshed, so this is perfect for those ‘can’t be bothered‘ mornings that I have, every day. Because you only need a little amount for each eye, this pot will last you a good while, which I can confidently say, is worth the money. Overall, not the best I tried, but does the job and does it well.

The eye balm sounds so nice. I like products that feel cooling & calming and think they work well to de puff & keep under eyes looking fresh and more awake
