This week I thought long and hard about my future career and came to a final conclusion that I am not happy in my current work situation. I know I have toyed with the idea of finding something new to do, but this week, all my feelings of unhappiness reared it’s ugly head (again) and I am now thinking and planning on my next steps. My current manager has been ever so nice about the whole thing, I think she, too has the same feeling and just wants the best for me. So now, the question is, what do I really want to do? The answer at the moment is, I don’t 100% know myself, but something to do with beauty advising, writing and events would probably be ideal. However, my lack of experience hinders those opportunities as it’s ever so hard to to get a job without experience these days, le sigh.

On the bright side, I met up with Joanna on Thursday and was so happy to see her. We haven’t seen each other for a whole month and I missed her dearly. We’ve got a few exciting events coming up too, so I’m definitely going to be seeing more of her from now on. This weekend, I filmed my first tutorial (yes, going bare faced on YouTube is a very daunting thing, but I did it!). It’s just my everyday make up look, which doesn’t change often, so I don’t know when I will be filming another one, I’ll see how this one goes first. Apart from that, my mum came back from her holiday on Tuesday and she is now cooking up a nice feast while I type away, peace out!
