The Cheltenham Festival is just around the corner and if you ask me how I would sum up an outfit if I was to attend the races, my answer would be, chic, stylish and comfortable. I have actually never been to the races before and definitely would like to one day, so when I when I saw the Cheltenham Ladies Day outfit challenge online as well as the fact that I haven’t actually entered one of these competitions for absolutely ages, it kind of made me want to get my creative mind going.
I chose two of my favourites trends for this season, pastel and monochrome. The coat is just a lovely mint green shade which is perfect for spring. Co’ord’s have somewhat become a firm favourite of mine at the moment, so this set from Topshop is a double win for me, everything from the gingham print to the cropped style top to the peg trousers, I just love it! Adding in the last touches, some flat pointed shoes for comfort, a small, chic city bag to carry all your essentials, some aviators for that extra coolness and a floppy hat of course, no race day is complete without one. One last thing, a bright pink lip to finish off, voila!
To enter this competition, all you need to do it create a blog post on how you would style your Cheltenham Festival outfit, submit it and the outfit with the most votes will win two tickets to the festival itself. All terms and conditions can be found here. Don’t forget to put your bets in too!
I would love if you could vote for my entry. What do you think of it?
