La Roche Posay Effaclar Duo (+) Review

La Roche Posay Effaclar Duo (+) £15.50 (*)

Having been an avid fan of the original Effaclar Duo, I was eagerly excited when this landed on my doorstep a few weeks back. Specifically formulated to target key signs of oily, blemish prone skin, it now has the ability to fight against the appearance of marks and refine the skin texture leaving a more smoother and brighter complexion.

Using this twice a day, in between cleanser/toner and moisturiser, it has really helped in improving the texture of my skin. It has definitely been much smoother and when applying moisturiser, it sinks in nicely, leaving a lovely matte base. I have been quite run down lately and as a result, I’ve been getting quite a few blemishes, this has definitely helped with improving the appearance of the marks, making them look less prominent and dark. There is no particular scent to the product and the packaging is the same as the original. The price is just slightly more expensive, but not too extortionate, so it definitely worth picking up if you were a fan of the original.

Have you tried anything from the La Roche Posay Effaclar range?

I just can't wait to give this a go – I adore the original formula, and the added scar-fading ingredient just sounds even more perfect!
