where to get my hair coloured in london

Last Wednesday, I had the pleasure of visiting The House of Rush salon for a hair colour, treatment and cut. The salon, located on Piccadilly consists of two floors, a small ground floor where a couple of nail bars are situated and the impressive first floor boasts a gorgeous reception area complete with a bar, spacious hair desks with large mirrors, a colour bar and a relaxing hair wash room with massaging chairs.

I was greeted with a lovely smile from the receptionist who promptly took my jacket to hang in the cloakroom. I was then introduced to my stylist, Nita who talked through the type of colour I wanted and what style of hair cut I was going for. Nita was very thorough in her explanations and I quickly trusted her with what she was recommending. The colour was applied in a record time and all I had to do was sit back, relax and enjoy a few magazines with my cloudy apple juice and pretzels. The dye was then washed off and a treatment for dry/damaged hair was applied. Again, I felt extremely relaxed and comfortable in my massage chair while listening to the sound of birds singing. Now for the cut, I wanted to get rid of my dry ends, so I told Nita to just go in for the kill and banish them once and for all. She knew I wanted to keep some length, so ensured that the end result wasn’t going to be too shocking. After my volume boosting blow dry, I had a look in the mirror and absolutely loved my new hair! The colour looked incredible and the cut was spot on. I am extremely happy with my new look and cannot recommend Rush enough. Thank you so much for having me and thank you to Nita for making me look beautiful, for once in my life!

Rush salons are located all around London and South East England. The Rush shop also stocks brands such as Kerastase, GHD, Elemis and Rodial. Make sure you out the website for more details.

This looks like such a gorgeous salon, and your new hair looks beautiful! It's a shame there aren't more Rush salons around the north.
