So summer is here, you would think that my skin will be less dry and more oily, unfortunately with me, it’s quite the opposite in fact. My skin lately has actually become a lot drier and more flaky, especially in the middle of my eyebrows, under my nose and round my lips. Aveda is a brand that I have been a huge fan of since my uni days and I have always loved their range of products. So when I pop by the counter a few weeks back, I thought I’d get myself a new face cream to combat my current skin condition and walked out with the Tourmaline Charged Hydrating Creme. This contains finely powdered tourmaline, a naturally energising and hydrating mineral, mixed with marine and plant extracts as well as eleven powerful anti-oxidants. It’s super thick texture glides on smoothly and gives my skin an instant moisture boost. Because of the thickness, you’d think it would takes ages to sink in and feel heavy on the skin, but it actually feels light after it’s absorb and really gives my complexion a radiant glow. The dryness on my skin has definitely improved over the weeks and I cannot recommend this enough.
