ecotools Foam Applicator £4.99 (*)

At a recent ecotools event, this little foam applicator caught my eye and having not branched away from brushes at all, I thought now would be my opportunity. The foam is very soft and bouncy and along with the easy grip handle makes it the perfect tool for make up lovers. I started off lightly, only dabbing bits of foundation on at a time and then blending in, I found this extremely useful for getting right in the edges round the nose and eyes, but with larger areas such as the forehead and cheeks, it was a bit of a struggle to get the product to spread. I ended up having to bring in the brushes to help finish off the application, otherwise it would of taken me ages. Overall, I liked this applicator, but it didn’t wow me as such. I will still continue to use it for the areas round my nose and eyes, but it will be in conjunction with my brushes.

Have you tried this foam applicator before?

This looks interesting. I can imagine it would take forever to use though.

This looks fab but like you say I could definitely see myself having to whip out brushes to help finish the application. Raspberrykiss xo

I've not used this applicator before but I did see it in town the other day and was debating making a purchase, for £4.99 it's not to bad for just the areas around your nose and eyes x

Yeah, I suppose if you're only going to use it for those areas. xx

It is, but unfortunately, it's not for me. xx
