Steamcream Review

cream for sensitive skin

limited edition steam cream

all natural skin cream

cream to treat redness

Steamcream £12.95 (*)

Having heard a lot about Steamcream previously, I was still yet to try it out. I read a lot of reviews saying how great it is for sensitive skins, so when they contacted me about reviewing their new limited edition designed tin and of course the cream itself, I was happy to give it a try. Steamcream uses the best quality natural, vegan ingredients from the source and suppliers that comply with their non-animal testing policy. Once all the ingredients are put together, they use a unique steam process to fuse it, turning it in to a gentle and loose emulsion.

Once the cream touches your skin, it absorbs, sending all the natural and calming ingredients deep down under and nourishes from the inside. I must admit that when I first tried it on my hand, it felt quite thick and heavy, but once I rubbed it in, it felt extremely lightweight. The scent is gorgeous, very natural and soothing. My skin felt instantly soft and smooth especially on the dry patches on my arms and my knees. On my face, it created a nice, light base and wasn’t irritating at all. The tin is designed by Japanese artist Maki Kahori, the deep blue chrysanthemum will look amazing on any dressing table and once you’ve used it up, you can also use it as a storage tin. Overall, this is a lovely, multi-purpose cream for any skin types and works specially well with sensitives skins.

Have you tried Steamcream before?

I'd love to give this a try, even if it's just so I can keep the pretty tin afterwards, but unfortunately it contains lavender which I can't use. I have bought one for my mum to try for her birthday though x
