Let’s face it, I have an addiction to nude lipsticks. A new addition to the family comes from MAC and it’s one of their new Patent Polish pencils. And when they say patent, they mean patent. These lip pencils are no ordinary gloss crayons, they give the ultimate shiny lip effect upon first swipe. Innocent is described as a nude beige, it is a light toned, semi opaque colour with gloss finish. Unlike lipgloss, although you may think it might be similar, it actually isn’t. It’s non-sticky and feels extremely nourishing on the lips. Longevity power for this particular shade isn’t that great though, lasting only an hour on me, which is disappointing. However, I reckon it’ll look lovely and last longer if it was applied on top of a nude lipstick for example, I’m definitely going to give that a go.
Have you tried any of these Patent Polish lip pencils yet?
