World Cup Beauty Pamper

world cup 2014

This is the scene, the football’s on and you’re not at all interested in joining your boyfriend, dad or brother for ninety minutes of pitch action, although at times you wouldn’t mind catching a glimpse of the shirt swapping at the end, just so you can see certain players take their top off *wink wink*. So why not take yourself away and enjoy a blissful time pampering yourself, from running a relaxing bath to getting your fingers and tootsies painted, I’ve got you covered. Here’s my ultimate product guide (step by step, in a way) to get you through that hour and a half…

Champneys Spa Indulgence Oriental Opulence Bubble Heaven £12.00 (*) – even the name of this bubble has me melt at my feet, let alone the soothing scent that comes with it. This silky bubble bath that comes packaged in a glass jar will make your bath time extra special and leave your skin subtly scented and super soft.

Jurlique Rose Moisture Plus Cream Mask £32.50 (*) – while you’re laying in the bath and the heat is opening up your pores, apply a face mask for ultimate hydration. My pick is this amazing mask by Jurlique. Not only does it smell great, the creamy formula will ensure your skin is nourished and revitalised.

Bumble and Bumble Mending Masque £29.00 (*) – don’t forget your hair when it comes to pampering, it needs just as much care as your skin. After washing, slap on a hair mask and work in right in to your roots. This one from Bumble is perfect for me as I have damaged hair and it works especially well on my ends as well as making the rest of my hair soft and shiny. (Thweet! There goes the half time whistle!)

Jurlique Antioxidant Face Oil £38.00 (*) – the second half has just started and you’re feeling fresh and completely relaxed, it’s time to add the finishing touches. My first choice is this luxurious face oil for extra moisture and to restore luminosity. Despite being an oil, it’s extremely lightweight and can actually be used day and night.

Melvita L’Or Bio Extraordinary Dry Oil £27.50 (*) – for the body, this gorgeous scented product will send you off to a land of bliss. A unique synergy of five rare and precious oils gathered from around the world ensures your skin is deeply nourished and protected. This can also be used on your hair to improve shine and strength.

Maybelliene SuperStay Megawatt Nail Polish in Orange Punch £4.49 (*) – time for the last touch before the referee blows the whistle, but don’t worry, there’s usually a few extra minutes added on. Nail painting is best kept till last for obvious reasons and this one from Maybelliene is the best shade I’ve seen so far this summer, Orange is the new black remember! Promising to last up to seven days with a gel technology and precision application, I think I may need a few more shades or two to add to the collection.

THWEEET! Full time! Now, you should be feeling all pampered up and ready for a cuppa and a biscuit. Football what?

Great post as per usual! Love that it's on a football theme too. The nail varnish colour is beautiful!
