Best Of: Fake Tan

Fake tan’s are my weakness, it really is, honestly speaking, I can never resist a good tan in a bottle.. Nothing makes me feel better than having, glowing, bronzed skin and throughout my years as a beauty lover, I have probably tried over twenty five different brands. But only a few have made a significant dent in my heart and today, I am going to share them with you.

He-Shi 1 Hour Rapid Liquid Tan £22.50 (*) – A full post has been dedicated to this beauty here. There is no doubt that He-Shi know how to make a good tan, this latest addition to the family gives a nice, lovely glow within an hour and lasts up to five days with barely any fading.

Cocoa Brown 1 Hour Tan Mousse £7.99 (*) – Quoted by me as ‘the best smelling tan ever’, this tanning mousse is not only great at giving you a nice even colour, but leaves your skin feeling soft and nicely scented. Similar to the He-Shi tan, it gives a lovely bronzed glow within an hour and is easy to apply regularly.

St Tropez Instant Glow Mousse £14.40 – Delivering an instant glow, this mousse is ultra lightweight and gives a lovely, velvety finish to my skin. The best thing about it, is it dries super quickly, meaning I can get change straight away and it doesn’t transfer on to anything at all. At the end of the day, I can simply wash it off and reapply when needed.

Vita Liberata pHenomenal 2-3 Week Tan Lotion in Medium £25.00 (*) – This tan does exactly what the title is, gives you a tan that lasts 2-3 weeks. Easy to apply with the mitt, this comes in either lotion or mousse form. It takes an overnight job for the colour to appear, but once it’s developed, I am left with the most beautiful colour ever and it really does last a long time!

Laurens Way Solution 60 Mousse £19.95 (*) –  I sense a trend going on here, can you tell that I love fast developing tans? Lauren’s newest tanning mousse gives a gorgeous golden colour in just one hour and depending on your dark you want to be, you can leave it on for longer to develop. Easy to apply and quick drying, this has got to be in every fake tan lover’s beautydrobe.

I never fake tan – mainly because I am quite olive naturally, but also because a few dab into fake baking at uni taught me I was pretty bad at applying it. Still, I swear my the St Tropez Instant Glow Mousse on a night out. Gotta get those legs extra dark, right?

I haven't tried any of these tans before, I tend to do mine in the evening wait for it to dry and wash it off in the morning.

Currently lovin' Clarins Delicious Self Tanning Cream but I'm really wanting to give one of the He-Shi products a try! x
