Holiday Edit: Inflight Beauty Essentials

inflight beauty essentials

While flying, it is very important to keep your skin in tip top condition. The air and the pressure during a flight can be very drying and not to mention, exhausting. So here are my top inflight beauty essentials picks to help combat those flying blues and ensure your skin is at it’s best when you land.

what beauty products can you take on an airplane

Remove pre-flight make up with a micellar cleansing water, my favourite is none other than, the famous Bioderma. Not only does it remove dirt and grime with just a few swipes, it also leaves my skin feeling hydrated and soft. I am currently in love with Liz Earle Instant Boost Skin Tonic, so the travel size spritzer bottle is perfect for taking away on board for an instant refresh and to give the skin a little boost when needed. If a flight is more than two hours long, I like to pop on a couple of eye pads to keep those pesky dark circles at bay, the Elemis Pro-Collagen Hydra Gel Eye Masks (*) are great for hydration and most importantly, keep me looking less bleary-eyed. Now, I’m ready to head off to the land of snooze……

mini travel products

Before landing, I need a quick freshen up, so after a quick brush of the teeth with my Wisdom Travel Toothbrush and mini Marvis Mint Toothpaste, I’m opting for a base of Liz Earle‘s Sheer Skin Tint (*). It’s an extremely lightweight tinted moisturiser, yet gives just the right amount of coverage and has an SPF of 15. For my lips, I’m going to go for some balm. Bee Good‘s Vanilla and Honey Lip Balm (*) has a rich and deeply replenishing formula to gently soothe and hydrate. Then a quick spritz of some Batiste Dry Shampoo and a slick Melvita‘s Deodorant for Sensitive Skin (*), I’m good to land, feeling refreshed and completely beautified.

I love seeing what beauty items people take on the plane. I have to have a face mist & a good lip balm. My lips get so chapped. This Bee Good one sounds like a plane essential.
