Not only have I been reaching for the lighter face moisturisers and body lotions, make up bases have also become more sheer and less heavy. During the summer, the last thing I want is make up melting off my face, so I always opt for a BB cream or a tinted moisturiser. This summer, I have tried a fair few lighter bases and I have chosen my top three to share with you today.
Liz Earle Sheer Skin Tint SPF15 £21.00 (*) – This is a super lightweight tinted moisturiser that gives just the right amount of coverage without being too heavy. It has an SPF of 15, meaning I will be nicely protected from the rays and leaves my skin feeling smooth and plump. Full post here.
Clarins BB Skin Perfecting Cream £30.00 – A creamy, yet non-heavy BB cream that glides on to your skin like a dream. The smooth formula ensures even coverage without being over clogging. This also has an SPF of 25 which is great to take on holiday where the sun is really strong.
Pixi H20 Skin Tint £21.00 (*) – This has a gel-cream formula that applies to skin smoothly ensuring an even coverage. I love the fact that it’s so hydrating yet leaves the skin breathable and gives a flawless finish. It feels extremely gentle when applied and has a cooling effect which makes it perfect for hot weather.
What are you favourite skin bases for summer? Have you tried any of the above before?
