My Night Time Skincare Routine

Night time skincare routines are one of those that I spend the most time on. In the morning, I tend to rush and just do the norm, cleanse, tone and moisturise, then I’m out the door. However, in the evenings, when I’ve got some time to wind down and relax, I’ll then spend more time on skincare. At the moment, I like to think that I have quite a good routine and I do follow it religiously, every night without fail. The only thing that changes mostly, are the products. As an avid beauty lover, it’s a no brainer that I often change what I use and I’m always on the look out for new products.

My current routine consists of a thorough wipe over using Bioderma‘s Micellar Water to get rid of the top layer of dirt and make up. I then a double cleanse with Radical‘s Hydrating Cleanser (*), which penetrates deep down, removing the last traces of dirt and leaves my skin feeling hydrated. Next is serum, my current favourite is The Body Shop Vitamin E Overnight Serum (*), it is of an oil consistency and really gives my skin the replenishment it needs throughout the night. On to my eyes, I apply the Vichy Idealia Eye Contour Cream (*), the nifty little silicone applicator ensures the correct amount is distributed and really smoothes out the appearance of dark circles and fine lines. Moisturising comes next, and I am currently using Soap & Glory‘s Wish Upon A Jar (*) which is packed full of active ingredients to regenerate my skin while in dreamland. Lastly, on my lips, the Nivea Blueberry Lip Butter (*) does the job ever so nicely.

What does your current night time skincare routine look like?

I'm currently using a cleansing oil, but I've been wanting to try micellar water. I just changed my cleanser to Oskia, but yours sounds very interesting. I use Fresh lip balm on my lips at night. Excellent post!

It was so hard to find Biolderma in Ireland but I picked up the travel sized micellar water in Paris and I love it 😀 Nivea lip butter is fantastic too x
